United StatesMost women over 50 prefer matte shadows and find neutral browns are much more flattering than other colors. And until recently, it used to be easy to find matte neutral shades of brown eyeshadow that weren't too red or orangey, and did not have shimmer. For many of us, eyeshadows with shimmer definitely accentuate wrinkles and sagging skin. Unfortunately, in the last two years, it seems that most brown shadows are loaded with shimmer, and if I do find any in matte, they have lots of orange or reddish tone to the brown, or are too light or too dark--many of us like a medium level shade but that's becoming harder to find too. These Pretty Cool shadows are exactly what I was looking for. Lots of pretty browns and a taupey grey that looks good too. The shadows go on well and look very nice. My only complaint is that there's a lot of powder residue in the palete when you use them. I think being more gentle with my brushes will help minimize this. Please don't stop making these lovely matte neutral brown eyeshadow colors. The pictures online don't do them justice.

United StatesI'm not only disappointed this color palette is warm not "cool" colors as described and the title leads consumers to think it is, I am completely dismayed on the lack of customer service. The lightest color in the collection, when applied, is actually orange! If you want 'cool' colors do not buy this! I sent an email describing the misrepresentation of this eye shadow palette. The CSR was frankly not helpful and responded twice that I could sent it back for a refund, mail charges at my expense. I asked it I could exchange given the misleading "cool" description with same response. It's not the point of the expense it is more about how DOC is not customer centric. I will go elsewhere to spend my money.
